Map and Dice Playing Cards price reduction voucher to offset international shipping cost

Was $12
Now $6.50 USD plus shipping
when using the voucher code below.

Inked Adventures is based in the UK and our Map & Dice Playing Cards are printed in the US.  This is because DriveThruCards provide a print-on-demand and web store service of which there is no equivalent in the UK.  However, our UK, Europe and international customers are sometimes reluctant to purchase due to the high cost of shipping.  In the case of the UK the $12 usd cards cost $11.20 to post, that's $23.20 or £15.25 in Her Royal Sterling.  The prices DTRPG/RPGNow/DTCards charge for postage are standardised and there is almost no work around for us as a the small publisher.  However, by massively reducing the price of the cards for everyone for a limited period (until January 11th 2016), we're hoping that this will make our playing cards more palatable to customers outside of the US.  In the case of the UK customer the total order for one pack will now will be $6.50+$11.20=$17.70 or £11.65. Still, not the cheapest price for a novelty roleplaying accessory, but  this reduction is close to the wholesale publisher price which we use to sell to stall vendors (i.e. it's pretty much as low as we can go).  Of course this will mean our US cousins will be able to get them even cheaper, but hey, we probably have to them to thank for inventing money-off vouchers in the first place.  We really want to share these babies with the world, because, let's face it, sometimes mass cult-like status can be way more satisfying than money.  We're also hoping that if customers order now they may still be in time to receive the cards before Christmas.

Pre-printed starship tiles photos

The Starship deck plan 6x6 tiles are designed for use with 25/27/30mm sci-fi figures.  When no figures are available (or are too poorly painted to share with the world) I like to use Lego minifigs.
(Inked Adventures is not endorsed by or associated with compulsory fun Danish megacorporation  Lego etc.)

The following photos show examples of how the 6x6 inch pre-printed tiles can be employed on the gaming table.  Only one set of 25 double-sided tiles is used here. I must apologise for the poor focus quality.

Wily space pirates use disused cargo pods as a docking base in deep space.
Three cargo pods and a walkway can be cut up from one of the tiles.  Docked clockwise, left to right: A Purple Zeven, a Customised Prospector and a K-Trifighter

Free 6×6 Cargo Freighter Tile (Compact&Worn Starship Deck Plans)

In preparation for the release of the Compact & Worn Starship Deck Plans 6x6 Tiles (PDF and pre-print tiles), we are providing this free sampler PDF which contains a starship tile designed for use with 25-27mm figures using the 1inch=5ft scale, plus a "hangar floor" tile and some cargo crates.
Low respreview of
sampler pages

The inspiration behind this set is based on the sci-fi rpg referee’s need to have a play area which fits within the space of the tabletop, perhaps for a dynamic chase and fire-fight, through a space station or space port, for example.  These are small craft which can dock inside of larger vehicles.   They will be ideal in representing spacecraft which player’s can steal or purchase.  Most are battered and "previously used".  In games where interstellar craft only 30 ft across are unacceptably small, they might still be of use as “ship’s boats”, shuttles or air-vehicles.

The full product will contain this design and 11 other 6x6 inch starship designs with a choice of backgrounds, in colour and black/white line art.  We are also working on a guide with descriptions for the starships, as if sold by second hand dealers.  It will be available as printable PDFs and as pre-printed tiles through the DTRPG/RPGNow sites.

The 3 page sampler PDF file is just over 3MB.  We recommend printing to paper, photo-paper or card from a home desktop printer; trimming with scissors; perhaps then mounting the tiles on a second layer to prevent curling.

Thank you for donating!

A big "thank you" to all Inked Adventures customers who a answered the call.  You guys are fab.
We had products in both bundles.

Cross posted from Adventures & Shopping blog:

The recent charity bundles DTRPG/RPGNow to raise money for earthquake relief in Nepal were both an astounding success. Thank you to anyone reading this who purchased either the Games 4 Nepal (hosted by Kabuki Kaiser) and/or Cardboard Warriors Charity Bundle for Nepal (hosted by Brave Adventures). After some transaction costs the total amount raised and donated to CARE Nepal and Doctors Without Borders were $3320 from the Games 4 Nepal bundle and $4665 from the Cardboard Warriors bundle (US dollars).  When you think about it these are incredible results in terms the support from any community or customer base.  Massive respect to Kabuki Kaiser and Ryan of Brave Adventures for hosting the bundles, hats off to the publishers who donated products and a firm salutary celebratory handshake to every single person who purchased and donated to the cause.  It's also thanks to the OBS sites (DTRPG/RPGNow/WGV etc) that the bundle facility and charity donations were possible.  Hopefully Doctors Without Borders (MSF) and CARE Nepal will be able to put the money to good use in their ongoing disaster relief in earthquake hit Nepal.

Nice one. :)

Nepal Earthquake Relief Charity Product Bundles

It's really cool to see that many game publishers have been so willing to set up and donate profit directly from their products to charities who will, and currently are, helping in the utterly tragic Nepal earthquake disaster zone.  Inked Adventures were pleased to have been approached by Kabuki Kaiser, who has allowed us to submit our Crypts, Tombs and Catacombs pack to their Game For Nepal charity bundle.  The bundle includes some really high quality Asia/Wuxia fantasy themed Old School Renaissance RPG rules and accessories.  Already this PDF bundle is going down a storm with tabletop gamers, who were willing to donate to the fund whilst picking up some damn fine tabletop RPG products.  Check out the description and you'll see that it is really something very special as far as gaming deals go.

Pop-out steps free downloads

OldSchoolDM has been organising an inspiring project over at the Cardboard Warriors forum.  Different designers and publishers have been submitting papercraft scenery pieces (25-30mm scale) based on one page cut-file nets of pop-up/out steps.  I thought I’d give it a go, but I must confess the members of the Card Warriors community are always much better at crafting then I.  I present to you some dungeon steps and a small tavern piece which works well with our Rustic Timber Blocks.  OldSchoolDM is also providing a modified version of the dungeon steps for those players who desire an exact scale of two steps per 5ft sq.  Keep checking out that thread for news on the final designer sampler product.
