Inked Adventures on Etsy and DTRPG. Shopping is not just for Christmas, but please shop at Christmas as well :)

I can't believe I've become the sort of person who types "Christmas is nearly upon us" (oh boy, the grinding self-loathing, I'm feeling right now), but I really need to point out that for customers outside the UK, that we're just about on top of the final posting period if you want to buy cards or dice trays for loved ones, (and possibly, less loved) dungeon masters.

Playing cards, accessories, dice trays:

On the other hand, the instant pleasure of the digital' will be ongoing, delayed only by server crashes.  The Inked Adventures DriveThruRPG store is always eager to serve you in a click (but you have to print the tiles before wrapping ...). ;)

Here's wishing you a happy generic holidays and remember, "Shopping is not just for Christmas!" ;)  :D

Thank you for your ongoing interest in Inked Adventures (and your money, ooh, we like the money, no really, we do...).

Inked Adventures Dry-Erase Counters

Inked Adventures Dry-Erase Counters in packet

Inked Adventures Dry Erase Counters are now in our Etsy store.

These are hand made 1-inch diameter laminate card topped counters, or tokens, with a black rubberised backing.   Words, symbols or drawings can be added on the easy-wipe surface with a dry-erase marker (white-board marker pen) to represent PCs, monsters, scenery, life-tokens, bonus and condition markers or even as coins.  The border line-art illustration was designed in pen by Billiam Babble.

15 counters per pack. Please read the product page description before purchasing.

If it says "sold out", we're almost certainly making more and will be restocking soon. :)

Loughborough Comic-Con 2017

This is a quick post to thank all those who attended Loughborough Comic-Con 2017 last Sunday, chatted and bought from me, and all the friends and followers on social networks who wished me luck in my first solo-journey into the world of "the real" (I was a little nervous!).  Before now, my stores have been firmly of the web-based kind, but I have been understudying Con' trading with All Rolled Up UK team, who have taught me much in short space of time.  It was a really great experience and I hardly had time to go around around the Con myself, but, from corner of the eye glimpses, it seems to have been quite a hit with the locals.  Loughborough Comic Con was organised by Creed Conventions.

I totally that recommend that you check out the #loughboroughcomiccon tag on Instagram to get a sense of the variety of displays, celebrities, cosplayers and traders.  (Also on IG: a scavenging Jawa at my stall, deplorable creatures!)   Loughborough Echo article here.

Con News

In an act of very last minute decision making, Inked Adventures will be having a stall at the lesser known, but vibrant, Loughborough Comic-Con, since it is on my very own doorstep, tomorrow, Sunday 22nd October.  I'll mainly be selling the Map & Dice Playing Cards, laminated flagstone tiles, some dice trays and a selection of things normally only seen on my Etsy store. If, by freaky co-incidence, you are there, be gentle with me, because it's the first time running being on a stall on my own. ;)

Unfortunately, I have yet to find an economic way to short print-run colour dungeon sections and tiles, with the exception of the Dungeon Cut-Ups Pocket Edition, so there will be no dungeon scenery on the stall, just little packets of cool things. I'm still designing and selling colour dungeon sections as printable PDFs through DriveThruRPG, RPGNow and other sites.

My friends at the All Rolled Up company will be taking a stack of the Inked Adventures Map & Dice Playing Cards to Essen Spiel '17 (26th-29th October 2017).  I worry about my little babies being swamped in one of the mightiest gaming conventions in Europe. ;)  All Rolled Up stock all manner of hand-made tabletop accessories, including the award winning ARU wallets/game-wraps and neoprene dice trays (some of which sport my art), so it's always an honour knowing that my cards are amongst such good quality stock.

Thanks for reading. Happy Adventuring!

Inked Adventures Etsy Store – New Products

When it comes to selling some physically created products (with the exception of Print-On-Demand and PDF files*) we are using an Etsy page.  Etsy, for the moment, is more secure for payments than our on-site button-buy which we are still trialling.  The Etsy marketplace has a wealth of unique products for gamer-hobbyists and collectors.

Recent additions to the Inked Adventures Etsy Store are the Fold-Away RPG Grid and All Rolled Up dice trays - specifically ones illustrated by Billiam Babble.

The Map & Dice Playing Cards are still extremely popular with customers and traders alike (see previous post).  We literally can't get them printed fast enough!  The hand-cut Dungeon Cut-Ups Cards Pocket Edition have been delighting the occasional old-school Dungeon Master.

Please feel free to visit our store page on Etsy and perhaps look in nearby stores also: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/InkedAdventures

Thanks for browsing and may your dungeons be beautiful!

*DriveThruRPG, RPGNow and DriveThruCards and Paizo stores specialise in downloadable PDF products with some POD options.

Inked Adventures Map & Dice Playing Cards

Buy the poker-sized Map & Dice Playing Cards now with PayPal here or on Etsy

Today is the delivery day and re-launch of our Map & Dice Playing Cards!  These new cards are poker sized and are a redesign of the bridge-sized cards which were previous only available on print-on-demand sites (at DriveThruCards and TheGameCrafter).  We have now had them printed in bulk so that we can sell them directly to customers and traders.

The first print run sold well at the UK Games Expo '17, with help from the All Rolled Up crew and friends.  The last few packs sold out completely after the briefest of mentions on social media sites, without us even getting a chance to mention them on here.  Thank you to everyone who bought those.

And now we have more!

These specially designed playing cards combine hand illustrated dungeon geomorph maps with random dice results. They are ideal for dungeon masters planning a "megadungeon" or creating a dungeon level randomly. With 4 suits and 2 Jokers, they also double as normal playing cards.

Inked Adventures Dungeon Cut-Ups Cards Pocket Edition

For Dungeon Masters on the go!  Inked Adventures Dungeon Cut-ups Pocket Edition.

These tiny hand-cut dungeon cards are our first product on Etsy. This is partly because normally we sell through DriveThruRPG and other sites, and hope to sell directly and securely from our own site soon.  Etsy seemed like a suitable place for a hand-crafted item.

They use the Inked Adventures hand-drawn dungeon floor designs and scenery counters, but these have been scaled down to 1cm per 5' square (0.4in). The 6x9 cm cards are roughly poker sized, and the clear plastic box is perfect for holding the small, reusable,  pieces.

Rudimentary hero and monster counters have been included, but we're sure the improvising dungeon masters will find other types of counters, such as beads. The product idea is for travelling gamers, whose bags may already full with rulebooks or convention purchases, or for people with very small tables. ;)

Printed on 200 gsm (thin) card from an inkjet printer. :)
